One of the key players in the Eagles run to the Super Bowl last season will return to Philly with the club announcing on Tuesday they’d re-signed cornerback James Bradberry to a three-year-deal.
Per a source, he’ll be paid $38 million on his new contract, $20 million of which is guaranteed, while the 29-year-old from Alabama could receive up to $44 million in incentives.
In his first season with the Eagles, Bradberry made a massive impact, as he along with Pro Bowl corner Darius Slay helped they're secondary concede the fewest passing yards per game in the NFL (179.8).
Bradberry made 44 tackles in 2022 (two for losses), while also intercepting three passes (one pick-six) and defending 17 passes without missing a single regular season encounter.
He continued his sparkling play in the postseason with an interception and two passes defended in their Divisional Round victory over the New York Giants, the team that cut him following the 2021 campaign.
