Lewis Hamilton and his Ferrari are the Dark Horse entering the Formula 1 season finale in Abu Dhabi. In many an eye, Hamilton has tainted his legacy this season. However, the Brit still has the opportunity to stand tall in 2025. Hamilton has yet to podium this season, and if he doesn’t in Abu Dhabi, it would be the first time in his illustrious career that he wouldn’t stand on the rostrum for the entirety of a season.

The winningest driver in F1 history with 105 Grand Prix wins, Hamilton returns to a venue where he’s won a record five times. He also won the Sprint in Shanghai, so we know the crafty veteran still has some gas left in the tank. At 25/1 for a podium finish pre-qualifying, a quarter-unit bet carries tremendous value. Especially with Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, and Oscar Piastri all vying for the driver championship. If one of those three men pushes too hard and chaos ensues, Hamilton could find himself weaving his way through the field for Ferrari and onto a podium he’s historically dominated. With six top-10 finishes in his last eight outings, his recent form suggests there is still more to give.

This is a value bet on a driver whose passion and legacy will be on display in the season finale. If he has a solid qualifying, this number could easily move to 10/1 or lower pre-race, so let’s lock this in Saturday at a pre-qualifying number of 25/1.

Hamilton’s teammate, Charles Leclerc also can’t be written off at this venue. The Monegasque driver has hit the podium in three consecutive visits to the UAE Capital. In 2024, the Leclerc started 19th on the grid and worked his way through the field to finish third at Yas Marina.
