The Los Angeles Dodgers have scored at least four runs in all three World Series Games. Now they face Shane Bieber. However, he allowed seven hits in 3 2/3 innings in his next ALCS start. Bieber also looked shaky in the regular season. In 11 outings back from Tommy John, Bieber posted a 3.57 ERA. He also had a 4.58 xERA and a 4.57 FIP, which dampens his solid ERA a bit. His weakness is giving up the long ball, with 1.79 homers per nine innings pitched and also allowed a homer in two of his three playoff outings. If you struggle at keeping the ball in the park, the Dodgers are your worst nightmare. LA crushed 244 homers in the regular season, the second most in baseball and already have 20 in the postseason with six dingers in the first three games of the World Series. Make no mistake, the Blue Jays can light it up too, with 18 runs through the first three games of the October Classic. Toronto has to win to keep pace with the Dodgers and with depleted bullpens, after these starters leave the game, runs will come.
