With All Star weekend just weeks away, it's time to breakdown who’s deserving of a roster spot.Starting with the Eastern Conference

Starters:
- G - Donovan Mitchell
- G - Tyrese Halliburton
- F - Kevin Durant
- F- Jason Tatum
- F- Giannis Antetokoumnpo

The crux with the east is that the clear top four players in the conference are all in the front court (Tatum, Giannis, KD and Joel Embiid), which means one of them had to be relegated to the bench. It was between Durant and Embiid for the final spot, because they’ve both missed time to injury.Embiid is certainly deserving, but I went with Durant for the 3rd spot just because of how surprising the Nets performance has been this season, all thanks to him.

As for the guards, well, it’s a no brainer if you ask me.

Reserves:
- G - Kyrie Irving
- G - Jaylen Brown
- F - Pascal Siakam
- C - Joel Embiid
- F - Julius Randle
- F - Jimmy Butler
- G - DeMar Derozan

Not too much surprise here.My only tough choice really was choosing which Knick should make it.A case can be made for Jalen Brunson, but Randle is the one who takes a brunt of the offensive load, so I leaned his way slightly

Now to the West..

The west was certainly harder to decipher, specifically the second guard spot.Luka is a lock, I flipped around between Morand and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander multiple times. The argument can be made that SGA has better numbers (30.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 5.5 apg), but I ultimately went with Morant to reward team success, as his Grizzlies are second in the conference.

Reserves:
- G - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- G - Devin Booker
- C - Anthony Davis
- F - Zion WIlliamson
- F - Lauri Markenen
- F - DeAaron Fox
- G - Steph Curry

As for the reserves, the durability factor really went out the window, as almost everyone on this list has missed a big chunk of games.Because of that though, the injuries almost canceled each other out. Booker, Curry, Davis and Williamson each have missed almost too many games to be considered, but their performance when healthy has been so dominant that I couldn't help but give them each spots on the final roster.
